East Asia Pacific Summer Institute Program

eapsi Announcing a wonderful program for US graduate students called the East Asia Pacific Summer Institute Program (EAPSI). The program sends students to
  • Japan
  • China
  • Korea
  • Taiwan
  • Singapore
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
for summer research experiences. Proposals are due Tuesday, December 8, 2009
for the 2010 summer. This program is sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

eapsi In particular, the EAPSI-Japan program is supported jointly with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and has been going on since 1990. The Japan program has 65 slots for students and is a valuable program not only for future career development but for the future of Science and Education.
