Climate Research Scientist,
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory,
Berkeley, CA
Opportunity to lead a project developing a research program around the iESM
(integrated Earth System Model). iESM will be one of the first
state-of-the-art climate models to treat economic and climate processes in a
single unified framework, with the goal of assessing sustainability of
bioenergy over the 21st century.

Climate Research Scientist,
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory,
Berkeley, CA
Opportunity to lead a project to advance the science of modeling the earth's
climate and to develop one's own independent line of research. Be part of an
active intellectual environment in the Earth Sciences and Computational
Research Divisions. Collaborate widely, contribute to the understanding of the
mechanisms responsible for extreme weather events, and analyze future
economic and climatic consequences of climate change.

Climate Postdoctoral Fellowship,
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory,
Berkeley, CA
Opportunity to work as a postdoctoral fellow on a joint project with the Earth
Sciences and Computational Research Divisions to improve models of the earth's
climate. Statistical analyses of observed extreme weather will be compared to
climate model simulations of the past and the future to ascertain and to
improve credibility of extreme weather projections given climate changes.
